Patios, Decks, Garden and Views

Lucky owns this road but you can slowly drive around him. He may raise an eyebrow at you but will certainly not move.

Parking for 7 smart cars heading in toward the fence.

Or park up close to the house if you prefer

The typical load on arrival.

Where in the world is the front door? Most people mistake the Master Bedroom deck stairs as the entrance. The REAL front door is through this arch from the parking area.

From the drive, approaching the front porch leading into the gathering room. The porch glider is a warm place to relax when there is too much breeze on the water side.

Room for more deck chairs when you prefer a garden view or are watching the kids play in the yard

Around the side of the porch, looking down the walk past the wood pile to the fire circle.

Sunken patio with rock garden and swing under the arbor, fire circle beyond, hot tub in foreground.

The fire circle overlooks the water; a great evening spot to visit and roast marshmellows

Approaching the steps to the decks, hot tub and barbecue area.

On a winter night, warm up in the hot tub

Just outside the dinning room, another spot to enjoy the view.

Barbecue and picnic with a view.

Looking from the lower patio, the access to the beach runs from the road to the dock along the side of the yard.

Hot tub on lower deck, picnic table above

A third deck area with barbecue in front of Master Bedroom.

Feel free to move furniture around to suit your needs, both inside and out.

A hidden pleasure, nap in the hammock.

Secret nap spot under the deck.

Favored spot for a tiny wedding

The patio changes character with the seasons depending on the garden growth.

Front lawn is large enough for volley ball or croquet

Back to the parking lot

out the drive

and, yes, Lucky is still watching the neighborhood.

Views From Baby Island Lodge

From living room bay window looking west across the arbor over a patio in the garden.

From the Master Bedroom you may see lounging seals in the morning or evening.

Walk to Baby Island and STAY ON THE ROCKS to avoid sinking sand.

Three-quarters of the view from the Mountain dorm and several other rooms.
